Appendix C The Weil Conjectures
Theorem 4.5 (Deligne [3])略

This result completes the solution of the Weil conjectures. Note that it
implies that the polynomials ?j(t) of (4.2) are the same as those of (1.3), and
hence the two definitions of the Betti numbers agree.

１．ハーツホーンの代数幾何について：
　　証明が省略されているという批判があると聞いたけど、ハーツホーンながめて(>>513など)、証明が省略されていることが礼賛の要因の一つかなと思った
　　つまり、「ここらの細かい証明は飛ばして先に進もう」精神かなと。それで、一度最後まで読んで下さいと。証明知りたい人はＥＧＡへと
　　なるほどと納得した次第
