$ sudo timedatectl set-local-rtc 1 (0 ならUTC)

＞Linux に localtime を使わせるよりも Windows に UTC を使わせるようにすることが推奨されます。

とありますが、このまま

$ sudo timedatectl set-local-rtc 1 (0 ならUTC)
をしていいのでしょうか？

当方の、ubuntu studio 16.04LTS の状態
$ timedatectl

Time zone: Asia/Tokyo (JST, +0900)

NTP synchronized: yes
RTC in local TZ: yes

Warning: The system is configured to read the RTC time in the local time zone.
This mode can not be fully supported. It will create various problems
with time zone changes and daylight saving time adjustments. The RTC
time is never updated, it relies on external facilities to maintain it.
If at all possible, use RTC in UTC by calling
'timedatectl set-local-rtc 0'.

と、ワーニングが出ている訳ですけども。

外国とのやりとりがあるなら、rtcはUTCの方が無難の様な気がします。
winのレジストリいじってrtcをUTCで使用するか、
linux側でrtcをJSTで使用するか、
お好きな様に。
