Pricing is a crucial factor, so if there is a response addressing the slightly higher cost compared to other VPN services, it might encourage those who have not yet subscribed to try Mozilla VPN.The concepts of “contribution” or “volunteer work” are virtually nonexistent in Japan, but ideas like “wanting to be of service to others,” “wanting to give back,” “helping out,” “serving,” or “dedicating oneself” are deeply ingrained, albeit in a more reserved manner.
This is not a report specifically about Mozilla VPN, but I thought it might be useful as a reference, so I am sharing it as one opinion. Mozilla should study the nature of Japanese people more closely. Compared to other global IT companies, there seems to be a lot of misunderstanding and prejudice regarding Japanese people's preferences, mentality, and worldview. Paying attention to such minor details alone could significantly increase profitability and user numbers—this is an undeniable fact.In this regard, I think Mozilla has many misconceptions about Japanese people, which I believe is costing them a lot.
My colleagues also share this frustration with Mozilla, particularly regarding language usage, email tone, website design, and perceived American-centric biases. As a result, highly skilled individuals with strong ethical standards and a sense of integrity tend to avoid participating in Mozilla forums and instead contribute to other projects.
I won't say they have a “proud and noble spirit,” but at the very least, I hope you understand that they are people with a sensitive and delicate nature.

私の同僚もMozillaに対して同様の不満を抱えており、特に言語の使用、メールのトーン、ウェブサイトデザイン、アメリカ中心の偏向が指摘されています。その結果、高いスキルと倫理観、誠実さを備えた人材がMozillaのフォーラムに参加することを避け、他のプロジェクトに貢献する傾向にあります。
彼らは「誇り高く高潔な精神」を持っているとは言いませんが、少なくとも、彼らは敏感で繊細な性格の持ち主であることは理解していただきたいです。
