インストール済みの不要なアプリのロケールを一括削除するには？
たとえば、Abrowser や LibreOffice を日本語環境だけで使いたいときは、
不要な言語パッケージをまとめて削除し、日本語言語パックを再インストールします。
apt remove abrowser-locale-* libreoffice-l10n-*
apt install abrowser-locale-ja libreoffice-l10n-ja

システムで使う標準の日本語フォントを変更するには？
以下は標準のフォントを入れ替える場合の手順の一例です。
root@trisquel:/home/demo# apt remove fonts-droid-fallback fonts-noto* fonts-takao-pgothic
root@trisquel:/home/demo# apt install fonts-vlgothic fonts-ipafont-mincho
フォントの大きさは、メニュー > システム > 設定 > ルック＆フィール > 外観 > 「フォント」タブ で行えます。
アプリケーションのフォントサイズが既定では「9」と小さめになっているので、「10」に変更すれば Debian と同じくらいの大きさにそろいます。

Trisquel 11.0 では、Google が Android/Chrome OS用に開発した Roboto Regular がシステムの既定フォントに設定されています。
したがって、他のフォントを使いたいときは「外観」のフォントで指定します。
なお、以下のようにして Roboto フォントを削除した場合、インストール済みの代替フォントが自動的に選択されます。
# apt remove fonts-roboto
# apt autoremove

DID YOU KNOW?
The systemd specific command to change system language is localectl which allows for more configuration options. However, in this case using dpkg-reconfigure is easier as it also automatically downloads the required language pack and directly provides the user with an option to set new system language in one go. In any case it is worth to check the man localectl for more information.

~/.uim というファイルはデフォルトの ~/.uim.d 以下に存在する設定ファイルを無視することになるので、uim-pref-gtk3 の[全体の設定] > Global key bindings 1 > [global] on/off を使って設定したほうが確実で良いです。
[global] on/off > Edit より "<Control>space" を追加できます。
"<Shift>space" が不要なら削除してください。

# hostnamectl set-hostname ホスト名
