全くですね
「書き表せない」の意味が問題となる

数学に、構成主義ということばがある
無限小数の定義で、一番単純なのは、「有限小数でない小数を、無限小数とする」ってことなんですよね

で、これを、表現と呼ぶならば、超越数の定義も、「代数的でない実数」と表現できる
でも、超越数の構成的表現でないことは、明らか

彼らには、そういう基礎知識が、決定的に不足している。無限に対する認識も、浅く、幼い。無限に対する、知識とスキルが決定的に不足している
哀れな素人さんの「無限小数は書き表せないから存在しない」という主張も、構成主義の視点からは是認されるかもしれないですね（＾＾

In the philosophy of mathematics, constructivism asserts that it is necessary to find (or "construct") a mathematical object to prove that it exists.
In standard mathematics, one can prove the existence of a mathematical object without "finding" that object explicitly, by assuming its non-existence and then deriving a contradiction from that assumption.
This proof by contradiction is not constructively valid. The constructive viewpoint involves a verificational interpretation of the existential quantifier, which is at odds with its classical interpretation.
