Jim-san,
Just now I've heard that 2ch eco system will drastically change in coming March,
and development of browser for the new system is strictlly controlled under your
permission.
I am just a reader, and not a developer, so I do NOT intend to develop new browser
of my own, but I am afraid that many browsers cannot remain after this change -
the browser I usually use may disappear.
So I would like to confirm whether you mind/ban the following activities done by
users for their own convenience to read 2ch:
1. To read 2ch by general web browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, and etc.
2. To build "add-on" for the above browsers to modify the rendering of 2ch threads.
3. To share such add-on for other uses.
As long as I know, there are no regulation to give web administrators any authorities
to ban the users' right to do the above 2 nor 3 in Japan. If you limited access to 2ch
such that only permitted browsers could do, the above 1 becomes unable and also the
2 and 3, but I guess you do not hope such closed system.
Anyway, I would like to know your policy for the above, concerning the new 2ch.
Could you please let me (and many other users) know your opinion about this?

Jim-san is saying that there are no problem because he already met
and talked with developpers of major browsers and they understood
everything.
But now, many developpers have declared discontinue development
of their browsers, and some people mention the reason as that they
do not want to obey conditions shown by Yamashita-san, e.g. they
should tell their personel information to him, he can command them
urgent fix (in 14 days) of their browsers, and etc.
So I wonder whether there is difference between Jim-san's explanation
to them and Yamashita-san's one. I think Jim-san should communicate
directly with developpers to calm this confusion, because Yamashita-san
do not announce any more detailed explanation.
Please let me know if anyone know browser permitted by Yamashita-san
other than his Jane Style.
