Airbus の航空機は、コンピュータービジョンシステムによる自動運転技術を使って離陸に成功し、自律飛行への新たな一歩を踏み出した。
Airbus は16日、テスト内容を発表したが、実際の飛行は2019年12月18日に行われた。飛行テストの乗組員には2人のパイロットに2人のフライトエンジニア、そして1人のテストフライトエンジニアが含まれていた。4時間の間に8回の離陸テストが行われた。
