なるほど。
OpenPNEは画像ファイルをMySQLに格納している。
c_imageっていうテーブルがあって、その中にBLOBで入れてる。
せいぜい数メガバイト程度のファイルにしておいた方が無難かな？

* The database size is limited to 31 bits (2 gigabytes) on operating systems not supporting large files.

そうだよ。数十MB以上あるストリーミング用データをDBに入れるなんてナンセンス。
ストリーミングのためにわざわざ全データをメモリ上もしくはストレージ上に展開するのか？

そんなアホな事するぐらいなら最初からファイルのまま扱う。
