日英伊の共同実証エンジンだが、ビジネスジェット用エンジンPearl X用エンジンベースみたいだね。
ベースのエンジンは出力18,000lbs程度の出力だそうだから、XF9系とクラスが明らかに違う。
コアはイギリス、圧縮機が日本、低圧部がイタリアとのこと。
戦闘機は最大20t台くらいにする気なのかね？
それともミスリードか？

EJ200〜F414後継クラスのエンジンの需要はあるから、開発自体は結構なことだ。
ドイツが自前で戦闘機を作るんなら、こいつを売り込めば良い。
