内容の整合性と、that節がどれと結びつきやすいかってことなんだろうけど、
そう解釈できそうではあるね。betrayの文型語法はなにか。自動詞を排除できるか。
silence, chance words, or general attitudeは、同調し信念に反する行動を示唆していると解せるから、
that節とは内容として相容れないと読むのが普通に思える。が、絶対にそう読めるかというと
どうだろうな
だからあまりいい文章ではないと思う
