Hello everybody!
5chan page rank dropped suddenly in mid-October, so I rushed to identify and fix the problems. It took a few weeks of running diagnostics while doing A/B testing to improve the page rank again.
Now the page rank has increased by approximately 10 times compared to mid-October.
After I fixed page rank, I thought about how something as simple as pagerank can affect a site in such a big way.
So, I decided to make an IOS app for 5chan.
The 5chan official ios app is almost finished; we are waiting for Apple to approve our application to the app store. I estimate the process will be completed next week. It was delayed due to Thanksgiving in America.
With the official app, we can do a lot of things that we couldnt do before.
I also introduced a new HEADLINE system into the app, so you can find and explore different threads easily.
In a few days I will continue with my work on Donguri.

Our team also made an Android app, but I did not make it myself so I cant confirm if it works well or not.
Last I heard, they are trying to get approved on the Google Play Store. I dont know how long that will take.

We arent going to stop other dedicated browsers, they can continue to be used.
About android:
I dont have a device to test it, and I was not involved in the development so I dont know how well it works.
About apple:
I am the sole developer for the IOS app, and I am already using it every day to browse 5ch.
There are still a few features I need to finish implementing, so its not exactly ready yet, but should be ready in a few days.
I expect it to launch in the beginning or middle of December as version 1.0. Then we can continue developing and improving it together.

For example, there probably will not be uplift/BE/donguri integration in the first release because that type of integration requires extra time for review from the app store.
Although the functions are already working on my dev version, I will probably disable them for the first 1.0 release of the app so we can get through the app review quickly.
Version 1.1 will have Uplift/BE/Donguri integration.

I am a beginner to the Apple app store, so I am not 100% sure about how to setup that type of function and get it through the approval process.

The new IOS app has a lot of choices for settings.
I want to make it so it is highly customizable.
There are a lot of choices of colors, font size, font type, display, etc.

In that case, we could put a rate limit on the top arena.
I think the problem is that because there are so many requests to fight バリカタ, and the fights take a long time due to his high stats, there is a thread lock.
We can fix it by either limiting the stat ceiling, or limiting the amount of requests to fight the top arena leader.
Alternatively, we build a new style of arena, and retire this old one.

Something really neat about the new IOS app is that I can finally use some algorithms that I made so many years ago.
I think you guys will really like the algorithm I made.

I added a maximum HP for arena battles. I hope that helps with the arena being congested.

Since the HP is calculated based on weapon strength, if HP is lower, then the weapon strength will also be lower.
The fire weapons require high critical hit scores.
We have a lot of armors that provide high defense, and fire weapons are a good counter measure to the armors with very high defensive capability.
