No, it didn’t. Much like the MacOS one shot clone claims, all it did was create a very limited simulation of some parts of the UI, and nothing more.

Its not a clone. Its just simulation as its not fully functional apart from a few simple tasks like calculator etc.

You mean it created a GUI that resembles Windows (super easy). It doesn't actually run Windows programs (much harder)

This is cool but it's just 1200 lines of HTML and JS. The really cool part is that the model could one shot this.
Code-wise it's not something too complex.
Not trying to say that I could have done this in minutes/second like Gemini 3.0 Pro would have
But the hype is a bit too much.
