小説２ 引きこもるゲイタロウ
Gay Taro spent most of his days in his small, dark room. The only light came from his old computer screen. His father’s words echoed in his mind constantly: “You’re a disgrace to this family.” These words weighed on him, making him feel small and invisible.
One evening, he tried calling an older man he’d met before. He thought maybe some company, even if it wasn’t real affection, could ease his loneliness. But the man didn’t answer. Feeling defeated, Taro lay back on his bed, staring at the ceiling, wondering if anyone would ever care for him as he was. He thought back to his childhood, to the soccer player he once liked. Even then, he had been rejected. It seemed like rejection was all he would ever know.
Time moved slowly. He didn’t remember the last time he left his room or talked to anyone face-to-face. His father no longer even looked at him. Taro felt like he was fading, becoming nothing more than a ghost in his own house.
One night, as the rain tapped against his window, Taro wondered if he would ever find a way out.
